Study of the duration of the retention period in patients with the combined pathology of occlusion of the dentition

BACKGROUND: One of the most severe categories pediatric patients is those with concomitant dental occlusion. Owing to increase in quality and effectiveness orthodontic care nowadays reduction duration treatment stage problems occlusion, retention period devices used should be analyzed, which aim this study.
 AIM: To analyze occlusion.
 MATERIAL AND METHODS: The study enrolled 26 children aged 618 years occlusion second third planes who were taken for treatment. divided into two groups. Group 1 included 14 616 (53.85%). All underwent using removable non-removable devices. 2 12 718 three (46.15%).
 RESULTS: After treatment, was analyzed CONCLUSIONS: Retention achieved result after correction dentition an important rehabilitation process. During period, lasted 1624 months group 1932 2, all had inactivated devices, specially made purpose.
